The mission of Biochemical Society Transactions is to capture the topical and exciting science presented at Biochemical Society meetings.
This will be accomplished by:
- publishing the prestigious Biochemical Society Medal Lectures presented in the form of authoritative state of the art reviews of the Medallists' research areas, main speaker presentations in the form of 'mini-review'-type articles (both from Biochemical Society Focused Meetings and independent meetings sponsored by the Society) and short articles contributed by elevated poster presenters invited to give short talks related to their work at the meeting
- publishing the papers by the world class international speakers at the Biochemical Society Annual Symposium in a single issue helping to ensure that the most relevant and exciting topics in the genre of the biochemical and molecular biological sciences are selected for individual and linked Focused Meetings, the Annual Symposium and as Focus Topics at any larger Society meetings
- providing an excellent service to authors
- ensuring the highest possible exposure and readership
